When love was the glue that kept the relationship bonded to one another. Today, it’s the material things and luxuries that hold the relationships together, and when that’s gone…. well… so is the relationship. Now, no one ever said dating was easy, nor is it cheap. So, why are so many people making it so difficult to date, and being cheap about it too? These are questions that I often wonder about myself. I’m a modern day thinker, with a big city mentality but I’m old fashion girl when it come to dating. Dating etiquette doesn’t come naturally to some singles, but that’s just because today’s society has shunned men and women away from expecting manners in the relationship, and ones loneliness excepted poor mannerism to take its place. In other words SETTLE even if he or she doesn’t treat you right! Relationships are not complicated its the couples views on their relationship that make things complicated. Everyone wants to put their two cents in when the value of the penny no longer hold any value.

2011 certainly marks a new beginning for many, and for those who have been single a long time or suddenly single Speed Dating is quickly taking over the dating scene. I use to feel that as the years went by and the hurried holiday’s came around the corner faster than winter season hit. I would once again find myself alone in another holiday season dilemma of being single. And though I dated a few good prospects it was not really anything I felt close to connecting with.

Now this may sound weird coming from a women that decorates herself for every event, but truth be told I never was one for decorating my home during the Jolly Holiday Season! However, that didn’t mean I wasn’t feeling the holiday spirit of wanting to share it with that “special someone.” And even in the chipper of spirit it was never enough to catch someone’s eye! What a dilemma??

Now, its certainly the season to be jolly and singles are going to extremes to find LOVE without the myth of being told to go stand underneath the mistletoe. I laugh every time I hear that!!

In our loneliness we forget the true meaning behind Christmas, and that is Christ who was born to us a Savior, and who brought to us great things, and who gave his life so we could LIVE to find LOVE, and give it back freely!

Love is divine, it holds great power, it conquers all things that seem impossible. Nothing can compare to it, and nothing will ever out do it. Love will find you in the midst of your loneliness!

LOVE comes in one form, but many are blind to it and mistake it for LUST! To believe it exist one must feel it inside, and when it is found its euphoric feeling takes you to a place so unimaginable (We tend to call it the Cloud 9 effect!) that when reality finally kicks in you’ll find yourself in that place we call relationship or marriage.

So, I don’t know about YOU or your dating dilemmas that you’ve experienced this year or this holiday season, but I know one things for sure I will continue to wait patiently and let LOVE find ME!
