Breaking up is hard to do!
July 10, 2010 No CommentsI read a quote that said: The pain of having a broken heart is not so much as to kill you, yet not so little as to let you live. Hmmm… really? I don’t about this one??? Somehow or another we survive the pain of having our hearts broken, our lives destroyed, and even at times our image corrupted. Not a bitter sweet way of putting it, but truth be told its not anything to be ashamed of, but you certainly don’t want to be harping on it either.
You must understand the nature of Love fully in order to understand that breaking up is hard to do. Their are so many of us who don’t know how to love therefore we don’t know how to be LOVED. Love isn’t some sick demented way of sharing feelings, and it should never be expressed that way. Love doesn’t come in to steal your heart, but the lust and jealousy that associates itself with LOVE is what steals your ability to fall in love wholeheartedly. ~Socrates says: “The hottest Love has the coldest end.”
The nature of falling in love should be followed by falling out of love. Breaking up should be understood, before allowing your heart to be worn on your sleeve. That way when you come to the end of the road….when the relationship is no longer about LOVE you can disassociate yourself with the emotions that follow a break up or separation.
I believe breaking up should be a natural evolution if your with a partner who isn’t moving in the same direction at the same rate it isn’t going to work.
You may feel like you’ll never find love after a breakup, or that the love will never be as good as what you had. That is just not true. Real Love is meant to last, to endure, to forgive and to forget. When you find that, you will have finally found true love.
